 On the issue of infiltration and Rohingya in India’s north-eastern border, Bangladesh has said that India will have to play a big role on this serious issue. Bangladesh’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Shahryar Alam said this in an informal conversation with journalists on the last day of the four-day friendship dialogue on Saturday. He is participating in the India-Bangladesh Council’s Friendship Dialogue event in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Friendship dialogue is being organized here on the completion of 50 years of Bangladesh’s independence.

The Minister of State for External Affairs said, “On the issue of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, it is not only a problem of our two countries, but it is a challenge for the entire Asian continent including Pakistan, which Pakistan should understand. On the issue of Rohingya and Bangladeshi refugees, he said that these are very sensitive subjects. Both the countries will have to continue their efforts to find a permanent solution according to their needs and challenges.

To deepen friendship, social interaction has to be encouraged.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shaharyar Alam said that along with the humanitarian approach on this issue, diplomacy and security precautions will also have to be included. Also said that in order to further strengthen the friendship, mutual interaction will have to be encouraged further. In order to bring the people of both countries closer, the restrictions across the border will have to be reduced, both countries are progressing rapidly in economic, diplomatic, social and strategic terms and are determined to face any challenge. “

Former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu, who specially arrived at the Friendship Dialogue, said that both the countries understand each other’s needs very well and better results from such dialogues and seminars to understand and resolve whatever issues are there between us. come to the fore. This four-day Shimla dialogue is also important because Bangladesh is celebrating 50 years of its independence. The Shimla Agreement has proved to be a milestone in this friendly relationship.
