More than two lakh cases of corona in France, masks are mandatory even for 6 year olds

France reduces mask wearing age: Omicron cases are increasing rapidly in France. On Saturday, more than two lakh cases of Omicron have been reported in France. In view of the increasing cases of Omicron, the French government has reduced the age limit to wear a mask from 6 years. That is, in France, it will now be mandatory for a six-year-old child to wear a mask.

 In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in France, government officials have made it mandatory for children to wear masks . On Saturday, officials announced that children aged six years and above will have to wear masks in closed public places. For the fourth consecutive day in France,  more than 200,000 new cases of infection with the corona virus have been reported. The government has reduced the age of children to wear masks from 11 years to six years. Although the government has not yet closed the schools. Schools have been continued with masks.

Classes will resume in France from Monday and young children will have to wear masks on public transport, sports complexes and places of worship. This order making wearing of masks mandatory has been extended to cities like Paris and Lyon. It has been made mandatory to wear a mask when coming out of the house here recently.

, 219,126 new cases of infection were reported in France on the first day of the new year, which is slightly less than the daily cases of 232,200 on 31 December 2021. The French government is trying to save the country’s economy from the fifth wave of the pandemic that has spread rapidly in the form of Omicron. Therefore, without imposing lockdown or curfew, it is trying to control the situation. So far 123,000 people have died due to Kovid-19 in France.
