A drone has attacked an airport located in the southern city of Abha in Saudi Arabia. Four people have been injured in this drone attack. It is not yet clear whether the attack was carried out by the organization, but the message is being directed at the Houthi rebels.
According to Al Arabiya, officials shot down the drone, although people received minor injuries from the drone’s shrapnel. Yemen’s Houthi fighters have repeatedly used drones to attack Saudi Arabia in the past, including at Abha International Airport.
Tensions have risen recently in Yemen’s war. Where a coalition is campaigning against the Iranian-backed Houthis. US President Joe Biden on Wednesday called on Saudi King Salman to discuss other topics, including the Yemen war, over tensions.
